DFIC analyses alternative heat supply potentials in industrial park
DFIC has developed sustainable heat supply solutions in an industrial park for Stadtwerke Coesfeld. In this project DFIC has not only identified potentials for further supply of renewable energy heat from the biogas plant located at the former Bundeswehr site Industriepark Nord.Westfalen (IPNW), but also through the possible inclusion and energetic use of municipal green waste for heat supply.

BMWK commissions DFIC to provide financing advice on energy efficiency technologies
After winning the tender, DFIC is once again providing advice on export and project financing in various countries as part of the Energy Efficiency Export Initiative of the Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK). The consultancy services offered cover a wide range of technologies and financing methods in accordance with company-specific requirements. The use of subsidies for the various promotion possibilities in the phase of market and project development is also included.
DFIC has been supporting the Export Initiative since 2012 and has extensive experience in consulting and implementation of financing for companies and projects. Furthermore, DFIC has prepared various financing studies on foreign markets, which assess local financing and promotion possibilities for the respective target markets and help German companies to find the right financing and subsidy options for their projects.

Energy cost reduction in retirement homes
DFIC advises two homes for the elderly on the optimisation and restructuring of their energy supply. The aim of the restructuring is a cost-effective, climate-friendly and sustainable energy supply with high security of supply and low cost.
Study on trigeneration or combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP)
DFIC has been working on a study to reorganize the energy supply of the Mathematical-Scientific Campus of the University of Cologne. The objective was to ensure a sustainable, climate-friendly, economical and at the same time space-saving energy supply on the basis of trigeneration.
Various energy supply options based on renewable energies have been developed and compared: the options have been examined and evaluated with regard to their impact on the above mentioned targets.
