DFIC advises the environmental agency of the city of Essen in the creation of a local service platform for combined heat and power (CHP)   The central objective is to bring together supply and demand of cogeneration services in the area.  Innovative technologies and services in the field of CHP are characterized by high energy saving and efficiency potential and confer Essen a considerable potential, especially concerning adaptation to climate change and creation of new jobs.  A virtual marketplace is created and in addition B2B and B2C series of events will provide information on CHP offer of services as well as convey qualified contacts to CHP service providers, consultants, engineering firms and suppliers. The idea is to promote cogeneration by creating a market and facilitating the matching of CHP supply and demand in Essen by addressing both business and private customers.
